Quite a bittersweet twist with his death being in the last year of his 70s, and quite interesting to think about how technology today means you can essentially see someone develop from 0 up due to parents perhaps sharing too much on Facebook!

I wonder if ITV will carry on with at least a 70 up, although perhaps quite difficult with the participants having such a close connection with Michael, could be a combined final show and tribute I suppose

I don't think so. That would be five years away. Maybe they'll repeat 63 Up though.

I expect the cameraman George Jesse Turner still has an appetite to continue. He has built up just as much of a bond with the subjects as Apted.
