My dad has just informed me that Men And Motors has disappered from the Sky Guide.

Have ITV finally killed it off? Wouldn't be a bad thing.

It has swapped places with ITV2+1.

Nope, it's moved to 184 on the Sky EPG.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, M&M is a far better channel than ITV4 even though I now watch very little of it since it was removed from DTT.

ITV2 had an on-screen message that GMTV2 had moved to ITV4. I take it ITV2+1 haven't done anything similar.

I think the plan to is to kill of Men & Motors at some point, pratically all the decent content on there has shifted over to ITV4. But if they ever do sell it to another company then BSkyB gets 50% of the money, as that was the agreement when Granada Sky Broadcasting was dissolved in November 2004.

So it's quite likely ITV are trying to make it worthless to shut it down or when they come to sell it off Sky will get very little for it.

When M&M was on DTT the ratings would often be up to 300,000 for the top programme, it's barely getting 80,000 now. To be honest I forgot it existed, on Virgin Media it's on Ch 286 where as the rest of the ITV's are on 114-117.

I'd guess they'd still have to pay Sky even if they shut it down, otherwise they'd have ditched it years ago.

Noticed Please Sir & Doctor In The House are still there.

(Did they ever get the rights to later Doctor series?)

On The Buses has jumped to ITV3.
