What information is this? I don't have access to such info, in the example you give, Grange Hill is a Mersey TV production and I posess little or no knowledge on it at all.

Thanks for paying me all this attention though, up until you got on your soap box I was having a boring Thursday evening Wink

Well, whatever that thing on CBBC was ages that was "new and exciting" and involved phone calls, springs to mind.

Not really a News 24 relaunch is it ? Also, I'm afraid Aston it hardly changed my life.

And I am not paying you attention. Unless you're so egoistical that any attention to feeds your big head. I am simply putting you in your place. You would be wise to take my words on board.

Ah - X-heads, that was a project I'd been working on. Do you not think the fact that a kid can be on the phone while their 3-D head is on the screen, lip-syncing is exciting?

I think it's an amazing feat, the kids love it and we're pushing it through more in the new year.

I don't have to be interested in or like something to have an opinion about it. That kind of remark is from someone who can't think of anything better to say, and cannot put together an argument to counter my opinion.

I mean really, I could hate everything on TV - but this IS a TV Forum so I could come here and tell everyone how much I hate everything on TV. There are always two sides to things.

I am pratically wetting myself at the thought, Aston. I just don't know what I did with my life before this hit the scene.

Great well done, you've done something worthwhile. It doesn't mean we're all interested or excited by the idea. Anyway, what comes next? Cleaning Simon Grant's shoes or cleaning the CBBC bogs?

I am merely putting my point across, and giving some of the people who need an online "slap in the face" what they deserve.

NOTE TO ASA: Looks like he has no desire at all to actually discuss aspects of television presentation by the looks of things. I do have this desire but I am hampered by twits like the above. He has very self-centred, negative and irrelevant reasons for being here, evidently..... since he's come here, all he's done is insult people.....

Asperger..... oh I'm sorry.... ASHBURGER my charming darling, you are not even causing a minor dent in my armour.

Yes, didn't I also tell you that part of my job description is to clean the loos at TVC? I didn't think I'd mentioned that one... Ah well

Ah, yes. You truly know an argument is dead when you have to resort to humouring the person who is putting you in the your place. I don't think there is any doubt who won that one.

And as for Katherine's comment - I think you should report that to Asa. Don't want personal issues or arguments being brought on the forum now, would we?

And if I'm not denting your armour, then why are you paying me attention and addressing my points. If you didn't care you'd just say "Rubbish" and then ignore me. Clearly, this isn't the case.

Who are you anyway? You've obviously been here a lot longer than your post count suggests.

Do you realise who I am? I'm a BBC employee

I know an ex-BBC employee who says that when she meets people and they dont know who she is, except she says her name instead of 'I'm a BBC employee'

(she recently interupted a board meeting at an arts center and no-one knew who she was, apparantly she got quite stroppy and refused to tell them her name, as she is an established local celebrity!)

Totally irrelavant, i know, but still, it's funny!

I seem to have the age old curse that I've been an avid reader for longer than I care to remember, but never really felt motivated to post but then decided the other day that I would.

I have been here longer than my post count suggests, of course - but I'm relatively new to this posting business. I've started and now there's no stopping me. I'm seriously wondering how I managed to just be a lurker for so long!
