Max and Paddy to return for a second series?

According to a Series 2 page on the Max and Paddy section of TV.com, it mentions their definitions as "Coming Soon".

Yet the dates are incorrect and the show's status is still "On Hiatus/TBD".

Plus, it was reported that Peter Kay would me making something brand new for the new year.

Is TV.com taking the urine or is their light at the end of the tunnel?

TV.com isn't the most reliable site. Channel 4 or Peter Kay would have mentioned it if they had any future plans for a second series.

I'm sure there is a second series next year but they won't be on the road. It will be called The Power Of Two.

The Power Of Two is a fitness DVD that Kay and McGuinnes have made for DVD. It's avaliable on Play.com.

It was discussed in a thread on here not too long ago, that it is likely Max and Paddy won't return for a second outing as Peter Kay is currently working on a new project for Channel 4.

But if Phoenix Nights does come back as a third series of a film, then I can see Max and Paddy being back.

Might aswell just enjoy the DVD's for now.
