BS
Well, when they made an especially-for-video episode ( Have I Got Unbroadcastable News For You , with guests Eddie Izzard and Richard Wilson joining Angus, Paul and Ian) in the 1990s, there were various pre-titles bits, including a microphone-wielding Angus standing in the circular area in front of the desk, doing a "warm up man" type thing for the studio audience, in which he makes the joke:
"On behalf of the BBC, I'd like to welcome you all to London Weekend Television!"
So, the show certainly was made at LWT/South Bank/London Studios back then, and there's no reason to suspect that it's relocated since then.
Amusing though Angus' above ironic comment is, surely the reference to the BBC is irrelevent for the straight-to-video episode?
Yes, HIGNFY is normally on BBC telly, but it's made by the independant Hat Trick , and the straight-to-video episode was on VCI home video, not BBC Video. So, presumably the video episode didn't involve the BBC in any way, shape or form????

Isn't HIGNFY also filmed at LWT?
