I think the mockery comes from the fact that you want a national, prime time television show to book performers specifically that your parents know.

But as I said, I'd be curious to hear your suggested lineup.

Maybe an profesional singer whose base is in older or more sterotypically ITV audiences.

Only if you go into it believing that you know every popular person capable of singing who's working today.

I think they will be an element of the audience expecting the usual itv/reality names.

If Octopus is Courtney Act she be the only act whose biggest fame in the Uk is reality tv.

Only Drag race or Big Brother followers will know her - feels a bizare name amoung everyone else with a better reputation.

Yes, it’s also tedious, he’s made the point it doesn’t need to be repeated constantly.

Also let’s not use spoiler tags for speculation. If speculation is going to ruin it for people they wouldn’t have speculation on the show and everyone interested is going to read the spoilers anyway. Also if it was a genuine spoiler (i.e a name got leaked) the spoiler tags simply wouldn’t work because people wouldn’t be expecting genuine spoiler.

I have to watch it with them and see their rants and deep disappointment at unknown faces being unmasked making the entire act of guessing the clues impossible for them.
