Nice variation on Crimewatch as well - you're unlikely to be murdered or raped, but your phone will probably be nicked at some point. So do have nightmares. Laughing

And the STV continuity announcer got a wee bit too excited there - "Nice one Mark and Sarah, good programme", in a highly cheery voice. Obviously he was excited because it was an STV graduate presenting, but it didn't exactly go with the solemn ending.

Didn't see much of it, but what I did see looked a bit Brass Eye. Can't really make too much of a judgment though.

Contrary to what many have said on here, i thought it was a very good show, and I hope it remains.

Well the stv continuity bloke must have been watching panorama on bbc 1 and turned over for the last few minutes. Otherwise he must have a very different view on what constitutes a good programme from me.

Hot on the heels of 'Manhunt' I see ITV are doing another crime type show with a different Evening News presenter.

Reward - ITV1
9pm Thursday 18th January 2007

ITV1's new crime review team led by Mary Nightingale tackle unsolved crimes with rewards for information to crack each case. The 1 x 90' special show features serious crimes with rewards of between £5,000 and £100,000 on offer to viewers who can provide evidence leading to an arrest or conviction of the person responsible. Cases range from murder to a 'dognapping at gunpoint'. Mary's team of specialist forensic experts review all the events with detectives working onthe case and visit the crime scenes. They contribute their wealth of experience and explore exactly what evidence the police need now and why it is worth broadcasting new appeals on REWARD.

Slightly off topic, but your signature is very interesting Andrew Tyne Tees. Why would somebody wish to send you a private message on their views on Celebrity Big Brother?

Laughing I am making a joke out of ITV News, because I managed to watch the last couple of programmes of the Lunchtime News. And they always seem to be wanting you to send in your views.

Back on topic: I will be watching Reward.. as I quite enjoyed ManHunt.

Oh christ... keep 'em peeled. Why don't they just bring back Shaw Taylor. Rolling Eyes

A bit insensitive of me maybe, but this is ITV.

Notice next week Mary Nightingale is hosting a similar show for ITV called "Reward: Catching the Criminals" - with upto £100,000 up for grabs.

EDIT: Note to self - actually read the other messages before posting!

I suppose rather than phoning in with any information we'll have minor celebrities pleading each case and then viewers voting for which one the police should solve! Wink
