I'm sure ITV 1 had something similar to this a few years back. When they were searching for the most wanted criminals. I think Mary Nightengale hosted back then.

Pointless programme. Its like a spoof crime show rather than the real thing.

If ITV are to do a crime programme maybe they should incorporate it with Tonight with Trevor McDonald - i.e. Tonight: The Crime Hour.

As for Mary Nightingale, she presented Holidays Undercover a few months back.

It is hardly pointless if they are getting alot of public response, like they are tonight.

I didn't think much of the show at the start - its actually not bad! Getting plenty of public response aswell - is this a continual programme? (e.g having a six week run - or just a one off show).

What do you guy's think so far...

She presented Britain's Most Wanted!. Grr, Damn ITV bring back an old idea and tear apart the ethos that made the programme good. They should look back at the days of Britain's Most Wanted and whince at what they have done in this remake!

Bring back Britain's Most Wanted and more importantly, Crime Monthly

I quite like it. Its better than Crimewatch because ITV have kind of morphed Crimewatch with the Real Hustle which adds the dimension of them protecting the viewer inparticular rather than just focusing on the crimes. Also, they don't go too indepth with the story, just say what you need to know and Manhunt make better reconstructions ...

It was pretty weird to start off with but starting with the granny hit & run story (which is actually very sick, who in the right mind could do that) I was quite hooked to it as I dont really watch this kind of program ...
