The US is a very different market though. I agree with you that it's more about attitude and with the right support I do think regional TV could still perform as part of a national network, but agree with what Ben is saying in that regional TV would be a more realistic prospect than ultra local TV, so a Midlands channel has more chance of success than a Birmingham channel for example.
