EDIT: FIVER I think are showing it zoomed in to get a 16:9

They are not getting 16:9. They are showing it in 4:3. I think a 16:9 version exists though.

16:9 do exist of these episodes, as Sky 1 showed them all just before Christmas

Malcolm is on at 11.30pm
Never seen it listed so late at night!

And today they still run adds about it being at 7.35pm. Is there a reason why this episode may be considered unsuitable for the regular slot - I know on E4 certain episodes of Friends and other endlessly repeated shows always get shown overnight rather than during the day, though I struggle to believe that anything considered acceptable for US Network airing would be unacceptable to air pre-watershed here.

No, they decided to show a film shallow hal 7.45pm til 10pm

The Episode is called Rollerskates - nothing wrong with any episodes I don't think but I know what you mean there was an episode of the Simpsons that had to air at 9.30pm but since then I think it was allowed before.

That I think was the episode where Homer took marijuana, but pretty much everytime it's been shown on Sky it's always been on after 9pm, it might have had a pre-watershed showing on Channel 4, plus there was a bit in the episode where Mr Burns said.... "I p*ssed it all away...."

Saying that there was the Friends episode The One With Free Porn, which I think Channel 4 have only ever shown about 3 times, luckily as the episode's plot isn't key to the story of the series it always gets missed out when shown on E4, it'll be interesting to see how Comedy Central will treat Friends.
