BBC World/BBC World Service Radio have been airing this promotional clip for a few months (I've seen it on BBC Prime and BBC World). I think it's absolutely brilliant. As soon as I get a TV Card I'm going to make a RealVideo clip out of it, but this is how it goes:
The words 'Not all trend setters are fashionable' and a scene of a stock market with people rushing and panicking around appears.
Then 'Not all world leaders are elected' appears, with a South-East Asian leader geting into his car, as a hoard of teenage schoolgirls try to get a photo of him, crowding around the limo.
'Not all boundaries are drawn on maps' (Albanian rebels try to push their way through a border)
'Not everyone's world is getting smaller' (An African woman is walking across a massive desert with a water jug on her head)
'Not all explorers leave home' (We see a typical western woman surfing the internet).
There is then a perculiar combination of the clips as an announcer's voice says 'Not everything you see on the news is instantly clear'
Afterwhich we see the traditional BBC NEWS style background, and the BBC WORLD logo appears (occasionally, the BBC WORLD SERVICE logo appears beneath) and the announcer says 'BBC WORLD - Making Sense of It All.'
Throughout the entire clip we hear a section of Moby - Natural Blues. I think it's fantastic - even moving...what do you think, if you've seen it?
