I've never liked or understood the appeal of any kind of rap (I usually wish the egotistical rapper would just shut up and let me hear the backing track) but I thought this 'song' was the most 'appealing' of the 6 entries.
(Who chose those 6 ?)

However, there needs to be some careful thought / replanning of the song's presentation, otherwise it will come over as an aging pedo hanging around with underage school girls.

I don't think I would watch Eurovision if it wasn't for Terry's commentary. The fact he knows how the predictable voting goes makes me laugh. It would be nice if they could sort out the commentary mics this year as it seemed hard to hear him last year.

Why am I concerned about this? Laughing Embarassed

It didn't really work for Love City Groove so I doubt the UK will do well -then again, it was 1995 and the era when Ireland won every year, other countries hadn't tapped into the ironic kitsch value of Eurovision and every country sung in one of their own languages.

And I think the Iraq factor will still prevail when it comes to points.

I've not heard the song, but considering Daz was also responsible for those Bus Stop records, I doubt that it's substantially good.

Still, at least Ireland will give you some points Smile

btw, Who did the votes for each of the regions? Suppose Zoe Salmon did the Norn Irn votes again.

We were treated to, amongst others, Michelle McManus in Scotland, Rustie Lee in the midlands and Roy Walker in Ireland.
The south east had some young guy or other who was so overdoing it I thought he might wet himself.

That was the delightful Alistair Appleton. He's like that all the time.

Forgot to mention the moment when Roy Walker said "its good but its not the one" as he signed off. Laughing

he actually said 'it's good but not right' with respect to Daz's song.
