Seeing as they are run by the same company (Viacom), it's probabally some fault there. It's notable that the Nickelodeon channels are still on air though. There's a caption on TMF though. A plain blue screen with the writing " There is a Fault. Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible" with a voiceover repeating that over and over. All the others are blank (except paramount which is showing something odd).

TMF is an MTV channel.

Yup, I remember that message (on TMF at the moment) when Sky News went down. Oh dear!

The MTV channels (inc TMF) are showing a "no satellite signal" message whereas the Paramount channels have a downlinked feed, but no video input.

Apparently (according to a poster on DS) it's affecting all European MTV channels.

Looks like a major failure at Viacom's operation. The blue caption is presumably on Freeview - where the Crown Castle encoder will have a caption it can put up if it loses its input signal...

A bit of activity on TMF (Freeview) there. The error message was breaking up and had black lines over it.

I didn't realise how centralised these services are, so it looks like all MTV european services are uplinked from London and distributed via satellite!
