As far as I know Martin is now at ITN, I only say this because I saw him working on a programme produced by ITN for ITV, yet I have never seen him actually read the news for ITN.

When BBC News was revamped, he was not chosen to present in favour of Huw Edwards (God knows why?) and he was offered a place at BBC World - he refused and moved on somewhere else. He may well have retired by now.

Same with Andrew Harvey.
He presented South Today, then News 24. After that he become tired of the BBC and has now gone to ITN.

He presented Breakfast News as well.
I wish they would bring back Brekkie News, I cannot follow Breakfast, it is far too greatly modelled on NBC's 'Today', with it's news updates as well as news on the actual programme, they even have the same sort of studio, with those clear blocks behind it, like Today.
Breakfast News at least had some sort of agenda, Breakfast is far too muddled, and as for Jeremy Bowen, I actually watched him the other day and just cringed whenever he made a mistake and tried to cover it up with an oh so funny joke. Idiot.
