Maggie Mash Fans

It appears as if GMG North's once most treasured voiceover queen, Maggie Mash will be enhancing our lives once again tonight, after almost a year of absence.

Calendar have tonight shown a clip of new YTV series "Life After Jimmy's" of which Maggie Mash was narrating.

At last, Maggie fans have cause to celebrate, a full half hour of Pure Mash !!! It's on Yorkshire tonight at 7.30pm.

Will Maggie be doing any shows for the whole of GMG North or ITV for that matter?

Wow, that’s great news!! Maggie Mash on this new show (well her voice) and the so lovely Kerrie Gosney on the weather. Could life get any better??? Oh..…err…Yes, Maggie back on continuity announcing, but anyway great news all round.

Right, got to tune the sky box to ITV1 Yorkshire......Now let me see......

Indeed, I thought I'd heard that voice before when they showed that clip on Calendar.

Adding to the tradition, Kerrie is also voicing the trailer for the show, which will no doubt be shown again just before the 2nd part of Emmerdale tonight.

Well, boring program, but good voice over!! It was lovely to see her name on the credits!!

One thing - Before the show, It had an ITV1 Yorkshire ident, But on the Granada Region they had an ITV1 Mel Ident with the announcer saying 'This is Granada on ITV1' as normal. Its so annoying not having a guaranteed regional ident into a regional show.

The fact that it should be "This is ITV 1 on Granada" or has that changed now it is ITV PLC?

At last i wish she was back on regular i realy am a huge fan and just love her . She just so sweet she was my all time fav on Border wonder what she has been doing for the last year .

We should have a fan club for her i'd love to see what she looks like i could listen to her all day long .

Seriously, who gives a toss about some obscure continuity announcer. Maggie bleeding Mash is all I seem to hear on this forum . CHRIS REDMAN 2003 was certainly correct when he suggested that nobody on this forum has any REAL life.

i still cant believe yorkshire didn't cash in on the whole mash phenomenon last year - id love to see titles such as:

later tonight in emmerdale [part 1]

voice of an angel - a tribute to mags
