Great show tonight.......Madonna on Parkinson at 9.45pm. For those who enjoy Madonna then tune in. Should be fab! For a sneak preview of her brand new album "Confessions on a Dancefloor" go to www.vh1.com where her entire new album is available to listen to. Much much better than "Music" and, dare I say it, far greater than "Ray of Light."

Never mind that Steve. There's Christmas idents to be worrying about.

I hate Madonna. She was good in her day but if she carries on the way shes going, she'll end up like Cliff Richard Rolling Eyes

Anyway, yes Christmas idents to be worrying about. I wouldn't say 'not long now' as its only 13th November - but the time will soon pass.

Although I'm not a huge Madonna fan (I do like some of her music), I admire her for the way she has constantly reinvented herself over the years.

Is it just me, or was she trying to sound very English/RP during that interview? Her accent certainly appears to be less American than previously.

i thought she was a very courteous, pleasant interviewee, conducting herself admirably throughout. Not like Meg Ryan. Yes, her American accent has diminished slightly but overall, she was honest and polite.

I thought it was a good watch, but I was wondering, does the programme normally have that nasty soft-focus effect? If so, I've not noticed it so much until this week. I wonder whose wrinkles they were trying to disguise most. Wink

She is doing extra rounds promoting this new album (I think she is worried...), bless her.

But no reason to be in my case, just got the album, love it!
It’s a good listen; I think the best tracks are "Get Together, "Sorry", "Jump", "How High" and "Push". There is nothing on it that sounds as iconic as her earlier stuff IMHO, but it is still very good.
