Just been reading the new Radio Times (10-17 December issue) and it says that on Friday December 17th, Madonna is appearing on Blue Peter to talk about her children's book. Now, before anyone says she's flagging and her career needs a mention now and again, she can still sell records without hype and over advertising and in fairness, she doesn't really need to promote her stuff. It's not a case of "I havn't been on the news for a few months so I better go to a jungle in Australia! "
I was wondering if this was the most famous pop star EVER to appear on Blue Peter. (Did the Beatles appear?). Does anyone know?
By the way, I was at her concert (that was totally sold out despite press reports) in august and it was the most amazing spectacle I have seen in my life! Sheer class! I certainly will be watching Madge on 17 December!
