Not surprising. My guess is that the YTV/Granada slide we saw before Heartbeat was an error. It is about time they changed the Anglia/Meridian stuff as well, everything still has United News and Media on it!!!
The fact that Border and Tyne Tees don't produce anything for the network anymore may be a good thing -- I can see Granada leaving them to their own devices, and just bringing Granada, YTV, LWT and possibly Meridian/Anglia into a collective, with the logo/Granada Production slides at the end of programmes.
I wonder if this move will affect regional productions?

This is what CARLtON* also did to CENTRAL during the mid/late nineties. We all know what happened next.

LWT is Granada...
I believe ITV will go corporate from next year, when the broadcasting laws change.

How dare they! LWT is more than Granada will ever be, LWT provides all the entertainment for the ITV Network and now Granada want to hi-jack them because all they produce is Corrie and their ratings are going down! Well, NO! If the Welsh Assembly can stop HTV becoming Carlton then Ken Livingstone and the GLA can stop LWT becoming Granada, we will not be taken over by these upstart Northerners! No offence!

And did you hear Barrymore's message at the National TV Awards? He thanked Granada for their support, not LWT!
The only programme he's made in the last year was Bob Martin.... a Granada production!

When Cilla Black mentioned her 'saving Saturday night' on Teletext she mentions that she phoned the Chairman of Granada to get BD back on early
- not the chair of LWT or ITV1 but Granada...
See also Night and Day... I think GMG are going to pull production together but let some elements of continuity still split.
