Has the name of The London Studios been changed?

I was there two weeks ago, and The London Studios Audience Entrance signage was still there, but recently I have heard it referred to as The London Television Centre.

Sadly there is no longer the large external signs that once graced the exterior of the building, and the internal signage is that of Granada or ITV (distractingly displayed over a large picture of Annie Kirkbride circa 1979!!)

I remember the first time that I went to LWT in around 1989 - I could not get over how lavish everything was - They even had LWT branded rubbish sacks!

It's called the London Studios but it is often reffered to as "The London Television Centre"

you usually see the London Television Centre being used in maps and on the pride of Britain awards.

The building itself is known as 'The London Television Centre' or 'Kent House'.

'The London Studios' is the name of one of the companies inside it - they hire out studios and post production facilities
