LWT ident 13:30

I don't think it is 5 minutes shorter.
(I know officially Calendar News starts at 5.05 and NE News starts at 5.10)
I think it is because of the same reason why Calendar starts at 5.59, but is advertised at 5.55, Because it is best to advertise it earlier than the start time, rather than have people miss the start.

Plus it all depends on where and when YTV and TTTV show their Weather forecast, Crimestoppers, trailers etc.

Don`t Granada and Tyne Tees show a extra 5 minute prog on Sats ......Pulling Power or something......thought this was a Granada Prog, but its always in the TV Guides as being on Tyne Tees too on Sat at about 505.......does this happen and if it dies what is it about???

It's just a little filler programme. TTTV show it because there are no NE teams in the first or second divisions and hence, because they do not have any rights to footage worth showing (div 3 is nothing really!!) they don't bother with much sport. In previous years they had the Full Time programme and so there was no need for the filler.

Quite why Granada show it I have no idea, as they have plenty of 1st and 2nd division teams in their region, just like Yorkshire do.

Pulling Power - is it the Carlton (originally Central) local car program? Just wondering, as I thought it was only shown in Carlton regions...

The LWT ident looked brilliant when it first came out but now it looks dated. What I wonder is why just use the fair ground Hearts & not all the only other ones is the Motorway one which has a different background than the usual LWT videowall & the tune is the orignal (whcih was better) but has F1 cars sound effects when they zoom past. They could have used diffrent colours & variations etc.

Prehaps it was a temporary logo originally which may explain lack of varitions
