Sounds awful.

Hang on - didn't ITV1 only recently axe Blind Date ...?

Won't the last two lines be beyond most of the potential applicants?

Until recently I've defended the "ITV Trash" brand... but this is going a bit far, even for me. Pop Idol, Popstars and I'm A Celebrity are all well and good... but ITV really does churn out some crap! Why are they even considering this show - ManOMan failed, Elimidate failed and BlindDate was axed.

ITV do show some good stuff... but their crap lets them down.

Ive heard rumours that Jonathan Wilkes from YBF and either Mel Sykes or Davina Mcall are to host a new dating show, this may be the show that was mentioned.

I dont mind Jonathan saince he is a good presenter and good looking but please no more Davina

Davina is better than Mel!!! I am sick of her! I dont mind the shows shes on, but its just her. Anyway, when was the last time you saw Davina on the box doing a show??? Ages ago because, well we all know why. As for Mel, Shes never off it at the mo.

The last time I saw Mel was on the soap awards in May I dont have time to watch her show everyday on itv

I know we havent seen Davina much but I dont want her on every Saturday night on itv

I think this new show sounds really good actually*.



*By "really good" I actually mean "really crap".

I wonder if this new programme acknowledges the existence of gay people. Imagine that, gay contestants on a primetime dating show -- the Northern Irish continuity announcers certainly will be busy.

But then Cilla was never persuaded, so I do doubt it.

Bloody UTV. I can imagine it now - "Brand new right now on UTV, its Love on a Saturday night. This program contains scenes of lesbians dating witch some viewers may find disturbing"

And you will never guess which Ident that announcement would be read over!!! I'll give you 2 guesses.

It would be so good if they did have a gay version of the show! I think a dating show on E4 once had a gay version, chained I think it was called.

The only reason people go on these shows is for the chance to win a holiday (or whatever the prize is). One of my brothers went on Blind Date as part of dare, he didnt get picked though so didnt get a free holiday
