Do people not have actual TVs anymore?

I have got friends who don't have TVs, and only watch programmes on their phones or laptops.

Also, when they talk about programmes they're watching, they tend to refer to things like Netflix or iplayer, rather than channel names.

Going through the tweets, some use their phones because their parents were using the tv to watch other shows like Vera.

The target audience are all heading back to uni where they don't have a TV.

I do feel rather smug when I see people complaining the ITV Hub or iPlayer went down. Streaming is just still not a suitable replacement for broadcasting.

There were some disturbances on the ITV 2 feed at the start of the programme, I wonder if that upset the encoders for the streaming?
