Shirley I can't be the only one who can't STAND this mess of a quiz show?
The guests all look like they are well prepped and scripted answers are given to them to recite or read off autocue. The banter is just so forced and Dale Winton is merely an irritant. The questions have no common theme and the format is bizarre - why not just ditch it and replace it with dodgy talent acts with Lotto in between?
It really is cack.
On a lighter note, the Thunderblub machine worked this week.
I absolutely hate this show. Just answer the bloody questions!!! No need to waffle on for three minutes trying to convince us you don't actually know the answer.
Nope, IItWI is never live. They record the series within in a space of a week. The current series (four shows) was recorded across the first weekend in January.
Love it or hate it, this show gets the ratings and the previous show gave them the biggest rating (7.75 million) for a lottery show for over a year. Plus, it might look deciving but they get through more questions than Duel and Millionaire on a normal night. With all the silly answers, you might as well call it the new Family Fortunes.
I find most of the question given to contestants on 'In it to win it' quite straightfoward and accessible to many people especially with the 1/3 chance of getting it right anyway.
I like this show and I like Dale. I just wish they would join the lottery draws with the actual game shows like they used to. I hate the stupid Lottery HQ draws.

Yes, I noticed with the new series the questions have got exceptionally easy. Then theres a relatively hard question, and when the choices come up, there is really only one possible answer. Argh!
I like this show apart from the fact Dale has to "accept" the answer and that the contestants seam to be reading an autocue to answer the question. Noone thinks out loud like that (see WWTBAM?). Of note the Thunderball machine nearly failed again as it took a long time for the balls to be realeased. Is Winning Lines the one where there are 49 contestants up against the wall and the 6 winners last number becomes part of a phone number and those with all the numbers in the last 6 digits of there phone number can aplly to be on the next show?
I don't mind In It To Win It as it's an easy to watch quiz show although quite often with these things the questions are exceptionally easy. If you want tough questions tune into University Challenge. I'm lucky if I get more than one right!

I think it was something along those lines although I can't remember how the phone number thing worked. I believe it was also hosted by Philip Schoffield IIRC.
