Did anyone watch the first episode of this new series on BBC 1 last night? if you missed it, you can catch it on bbc iplayer for the next 7 days.

Lost land of the volcano is a fascinating new series, as a group of scientists who explore the rainforest around an extinct volcano in Papua New Guinea, discover many new species never described to science before, many of which are threatened by logging and destruction of their habitat, the team are collecting data to send to the government of Papua New Guinea in the hope of saving this unique habitat.
If you are at all interested in wildlife, science or the environment, it is well worth a watch.
