Today the launch date for the screening of the second season of Lost was announced. The show moves day from Wednesday to Tuesday, but remians in the 10pm slot on 4, followed by the next episode on E4. Personally i can't wait, as it is a brilliant series, and is one of my May highlights.

I stumbled across an episode from season 2 a few nights ago, on RTE TWO on SKY. Watching that episode left me with more questions than answers, but then that seems to be what LOST is all about. Looking forward to catching season 2 from the begining.

Believe it or not I nearly posted this on the basis of a hunch yesterday.

E4 began repeats on Monday and RadioTimes said the series would begin later this month. With No Angels ending on the 18th, I thought Tuesday nights from the 25th looked likely - so I was just a week out then!

Strange though that the E4 repeats of the first series, which run for five weeks (25 episodes) won't finish until May 5th if they continue in the 6pm slot - a few days after the premiere.

Another thing worth noting - the producers want ABC to change the schedule to series 3 airs in three "acts" of seven or eight episodes each. This may make life easier for C4 who could air each act as a seperate series.

And Lost will obviously now clash with Big Brother - so it's likely it'll remain in the 10pm slot on Tuesdays with Big Brother airing the nominations episode at 9pm - and all other weekday episodes staying at 10pm.

Anyhow - I won't be watching Lost. I got fed up of it being brililant one week, crap the next - with no end in sight. As soon as I heard the producers were planning for it to last eight series I just had to give in!

I completely know what you mean. Quite often I'd watch an episode, and think, 'Did anything actually happen at all?'. However I still found it to be compelling telly, and good to have a bit of mid-week escapism. I look forward to being totally frustrated with the next series as well.

It is likley to also be on at 9pm on wednesdays because Desperate Housewives will still be running, the main reason for Lost moving to Tuesdays - allowing C4 to show Lost Season 2 months earlier than planned. Alternitavley Big Brother may move to the 9pm slot every night, which has so far been widley speculated.

series 2 is really good, but the episode about the second set of survivors telling only their story is just stupid and drags on and on. BTW Anna-Lucia just gets more-beautiful as the series progresses

Hasn't it already been confirmed by Channel 4 that Big Brother will be spread around the schedules this series, rather than be given a rigid timeslot?

It's been rumoured that BB will "vacate" it's traditional time slot - but it's a rumour that's been going in the past too - certainly ahead of BB5 there were rumours it would move to 9pm.

It's likely it'll follow it's usual pattern but the nominations show on Tuesdays will be on an hour earlier. Either Big Brother or Desperate Housewives will move to 9pm on Wednesday until DH concludes in June. They did something similar when Teachers overlapped with it a few years ago, with Teachers going out at 9pm for the last couple of weeks of the series.

Sugar Rush is also due to return this summer - last year it aired in 30 minute slots after Big Brother on Tuesdays.
