If so he goes to a lot of effort to crop them out all of his clips including lower thirds etc.

They accidentally played the bed instead of the closing theme , which was crashed by the itv studios endcap

That happens often - they don't really have a closing theme anymore I don't think. It's just a bed then the titles

Why?

Talking about The Saturdays. One clip of them performing in the old Daybreak/Lorraine September 2012 performance area and another one of them being interviewed by Kate on the September 2012 Lorraine set.

They use footage of celebrities that have appeared on the show (s) all the time, especially in promo's or coming up teasers.
So obviously, from time to time there may be clips preforming/chatting from various carnations of the shows if they haven't appeared recently.
