I really like the new set, I thought the old one was nice but this is even better!

So do I. The music and graphics are absolutely awful however

Who composed Lorraine's new theme?

Probably Sitting Duck.

The new Lorraine set is about a hundred times nicer than that awful garish set they've been using since last year. Still not as nice as 2010, but at least we can banish the last set to history.

A while back sitting duck tweeted "In Prague For A New ITV Theme" so it must have been Lorraine.

This set is lightyears better than the cold loading dock looking set they had before. This feels very feminine and warm. And the camera blocking looks like it was done by a very good set designer and not done in-house. Not sure about the theme music. Doenst sound "American" to me at all. But we'll go with that The whole opening sequence needs some help. I detest that "coming up on today's programme" phrase... feels so...."small production writing-esque". Just a little pet-peeve I have, because its not very imaginative.

Seeing this set makes me wonder what the heck happened to LOOSE WOMEN and the trash pile they were given. Had they thought ahead they could have actually shared a set. Couple of quick changes might have accomodated both shows..maybe. Clearly the LORRAINE set has colour changing tech.
-Change the colour of those beams
-Use swappable panels where those cream zigzag panels currently are. Pop in something else.
-Remove the sofa for a nice desk and maybe add some other set dressing. Shelving unit with some vases or something. They could have killed 2 bird with one stone. At least during this 5yr building transition. The Loose Women set is that bad. Geez.

Very nice new set - not quite sure what justifies the huge opening screen but if they'e got the budget to pay for it fair enough. Never liked the graphics on Lorraine since they broke away from the Daybreak look but do think these are a slight improvement, but no reason the clock couldn't be in the same position as on GMB. Always thought using a pink version of the GMB logo would make sense too. Music is a bit forgetable but the titles aren't too bad.

Do wonder though if the show will still be around when it is due to return to the South Bank - surely Lorraine doesn't want to do this forever.

Personally I think the set and theme are a huge improvement on the previous revamp. I am pretty sure the decision to keep the old logo was pretty last minute as it seems tacked on to everything and doesn’t fit with the graphics.

Am I the only one here that can hear the Dancing On Ice theme tune in Lorraine's new theme tune? Especially in the strings section.

I think it’s a huge disappointment. The music is great as of most music composed by Sitting Duck but the graphics are appalling! The set is also worth huge praise.
