Hi everyone

Have you ever woken up with cramp in your hand, and your hand feels really big? I feel asleep lying on my hand – I’d been laying on it for about 4 hours. Who’d a thought drinking an entire bottle of Listerine would send you to sleep.

Anyway, I like to know about any official correspondence you’ve received from television stations, broadcasters and presenters from emails or letters you’ve sent in.

I’ve sent a few to my local itv region regarding local programmes, and got a fairly courteous response, but that’s about the extent of my letter writing. I do send stuff to news@sky.com sometimes… do they read this? Do they ever reply to mails sent to it?

Wouldn't it be a bit cheap and nasty to publish correspondence from people who have been courteous enough to reply to emails?

Just a thought.

Yes, not to mention illegal.

I was hoping individual users would exercise discretion - they can say - Yes, I've had a lovely email from Trevor McDonald regarding the filling used in McChicken sandwiches, but they don't need to publish the exact content.... it depends on the specific enquiry, and if it's appropriate.

Isn't this tantamount to posting personal PMs on a public forum? Typical footers for emails from broadcasters "This message is intended solely for the use of the individual or organisation to whom it is addressed" makes it quite clear.

Seems a bit of a pointless thread (another 'creating one for the sake of it'). Then again so does starting your thread with your username, but I'll let it run and see where it goes...

I won't go into particulars, but I have a pretty high 'Reply Rate' from Look North presenters, and Peter Levy's replies can verge on the endearing! Nick Owen is the perfect gentleman too....

I've recieved two emails from Zane Lowe about Leeds, also one off a rather angry 6Music DJ who said that he loves Muse, but mass orchestrated email campaigns don't make him want to play Muse. (I'm on the Muse street team.)

My e-mail address book is like a Who's Who of Who's That. There's Richard Bacon, Rick Adams, Garry Bushell, and 'shopping telly queen' Debbie Flint - all of whom are very nice people.

My e-mail to Chris Evans was semi successful. A nice lady answered providing a helpful response.
