From what I saw it was one of the better efforts of doing content from home. I doubt ITV want repeats for the long term so if staffing allows it to return, even if not every day, it will likely happen I suspect.

I'm surprise really This Morning haven't made more of the Loose Women during the last few weeks - could easily insert a segment with a couple of the panelists discussing an issue as part of the show rather than using Vanessa Feltz all the bloody time.

Looks like they are back with new episodes (with a reduced crew) from Monday.

Apprently, Monday and Wednesday's episodes will be live with the rest being pre-recorded that afternoon/evening.

Seems like a sensible approach.

There’ll be 3 panellists in the studio with 1 via video link at home apparently

How have the repeats rated in comparison to the live episodes.

I was just going to say they’ll need a new desk to accommodate social distancing and guests. However, they may not need if guests and one panelist will feature remotely.

Guests will have to be remote. Two panelists would fit on the desk but I don't think three would, especially as their desk isn't that big anyway.

Three is doable with social distancing. The desk can fit up to six people.

Id argue that there is no way 3 people can sit 2m apart at that desk. When they have 6 people they are packed in like sardines. Doing it from the GMB desk with the added pods would be possible though for a panel of 3

The Loose Women desk has extension pods too. I think they could just about do it using those (at least it would look like they were two metres apart even if they were a tad closer)

Yes, that looks doable then. I think it is important for TV to ensure not only are presenters 2m apart but that they look 2m apart too, something ITV have done very well but the BBC struggled with for their telethons. I guess the 4th panelist will be on a screen to the side rather than using the one behind them.

Well, I'd say Holly & Phil are only about a metre and a half apart, but it looks more due to the lenses/angles they already use to make the set look bigger. Likewise I think the LW desk would allow for 1.5m between each panellist with the extenders.
