Odd piece under the current climate. Two guests brought some freshly prepared bread onto the set, which was then - with bare hands - broken and eaten by some of the panel.
However, they proclaimed that being “professional chefs, their hands had been washed extensively........”
Good job King Piers (KP) wasn’t on hand to witness this.

...it’s bread. They weren’t consuming the physical embodiment of the coronavirus

Watching today, I have to say how much I prefer it without an audience.
I don't have a problem with the audience clapping, but all the whooping and hollering (especially by the floor crew) amongst the audience, every time they go to a break and on the end credits has always been an annoyance!

I agree. Just watched segments of today’s show. It worked very well without the audience and the interactions and reactions between the panelists was fresh.
The conversation also seemed to flow well and was quite humourous.

I suspect in all walks of life some temporary changes being made may be deemed successful and continue in some form.
BTW did Lorraine ever do episodes with an audience. I'm sure that was talked about at some point.

Unfortunately that seems to come with age! The older I get the more it seems to happen. 1999 just felt like the other year!
Another one of those things I thought might have happened a year or so ago and turns out it was five.
