Just out of interest, what does "L1" even stand for? Do they use this term in the show?

No, sorry. They don't. It's entirely my mistake and I used a term we use in aviation automatically without thinking.

I meant to say S1, S2, etc. As in seat 1, 2 and so on.......a term which I believe they *do* use.

Today they did another episode of "Loose Women & Men" (+ Joey Essex) but they had 8 panelists total and the new desks as shown below:
I guess we can expect a lot more of this as they have gone to the lengths to build 2 new desks.

Surprised Loose Women are not having a new set - they share with Lorraine who is getting a revamped studio.

Even if they just refreshed it slightly as the current set is from the Martin Frizell days where he tried to give the show a more journalistic format.

Although saying that the set doesn't really look newsy, it was the content that was made more journalistic. It would be nice to have it refreshed but who knows. This look has to be the longest one to last on Loose Women with no changes made since 2014.

Any set changes today to Loose Women in light of Lorraine's changes?

No changes to the set have been made.

And No changes to the line-up from the look of things (as this would have been reported in the papers by now-feel free to correct me if this isn't the case.)

Kind of surprised that the current look has lasted as long as it has, at one point it seemed like they were revamping it every year, with each revamp described on here as a 'last-ditch attempt'.
