The see saw effect of the LW format continues from being topical to being dumbed down or 'fun' as the new editor proclaims.

If the plan is to make the show more fun (most likely to entice younger viewers) then when have you left Vicky P and Katie Price off. Surely they're the most relatable and would be best at making it fun?

Hope they keep Gloria, JSP, Coleen, Jane - they are the best ones

Funny again how they are completely contrasting what martin fritzell tried to do with the programme. Perhaps a new look in September? Would be nice if the original theme tune returned.

Only three Loose Women today, Katie Price pulls out with illness. But Olly Murs is joining in later as the fourth panellist.

Just like old days today with Coleen, Janet and Sherrie, it's also more news focused.

Sherrie's going:

Interestingly, Sherrie's last day is Monday 5th September which will be the first day of the new series. I would have thought she'd leave at the end of the current series and they'd relaunch in September with a new panellist.

With it continuing right through the summer with no break, I don't think it'd make any difference.

And who's to say they'll be a relaunch? Don't jump the gun.
