Jacqueline Jossa is 'not happy' after today's interview on Loose Women:

I did watch that interview! It was very awkward and you could tell Jacqueline didn't want to answer the questions being asked. She was constantly asked about her partners' ex girlfriends and relating to todays topic, as to whether his exes would be allowed to Jacqueline and Dans wedding.

A very poor interview and Jacqueline looked like she was going to cry...

Yeah it's a bit daft, Sherrie Hewson and Gloria Hunniford have both not appeared for 3 weeks each, Jamelia is appearing less and less which is quite good,

For the timebeing, it looks as though the main presenter is going to be as follows:

Monday - Andrea McLean
Tuesday - Ruth Langsford
Wednesday - Coleen Nolan
Thursday - Ruth Langsford
Friday - Andrea McLean

With Loose Women continuing through the summer this year and without the usual summer break, they will need to retain a fairly large pool of main presenters and panellists as, traditionally, there will be summer holidays for many.

It would appear that Jamelia is now only doing one day per week at the most, and JSP is reduced from 3 to 2 days per week.

Jane Moore and Nadia Sawalha are appearing more regularly on Mondays and Tuesdays, where before they were primarily Thursday and Friday appearances.

Loved or hated, I would say JSP is a crowd puller, so I wonder if it was her decision to cut back.

For most of them appearing on the show is not really their main career - they have their main work still going on and I guess the lighter commitment enables the show to attract what they think are higher profile panelists, whilst it ensures the panel are bringing more to the table than just coming into work everyday.

How are the ratings now then - have they actually jumped or is it just a case that they can't be bothered looking for a summer replacement so are just sticking with it anyway.


It's a sad TV landscape really where the BBC and ITV can't find an alternative to Bargain Hunt and Loose Women to air at lunchtime every day.

Well according to this article its staying on air in the summer due to a 'surge' in ratings. Reference to figures up 7% year on year with regular average audiences over 1m ?!

Katie Price taken ill in make-up today and was unable to appear on the show as scheduled. Paramedics did not allow her to go on. Her place on the panel was taken by scheduled guest Michelle Heaton.

Yet still managed to do a pre-recorded segment with Andrea and a first aider.
