New look Loose Women

I like the idea, not sure about the male panellists they have chosen though.

Does anybody else notice the weird contrast issue that comes up whenever they use that "flash" transition? Everything goes dim. It goes away after a while but I'm surprised there's been no attempt to fix it.

On Celebrity Big Brother's Bit On The Side yesterday hosted by Rylan Clarke-Neal all of the shows panelists were former Loose Women ( Carol McGiffin , Kate Thornton , Jane McDonald and Denise Welch) and they featured in a segment called "Baggy Broads" which Mimicked the Loose Women format and featured a parody of the logo and on screen graphics. They sat at a Loose Women like desk and had their own named mugs and discussed various Big Brother topics. After the segments Rylan said " Give them a show" could this be anything to do with Channel 5 wanting to make their own Loose Women rip off with the former ladies and in a way tesing the water? I could be looking into this too far as it was just a parody but it certainly is interesting with the reports that surfaced last year.

I agree it looks like some form of tester or an attempt to give them some exposure, considering the names featured on the panel are the exact names rumoured for the new show.

Coleen anchored today - even though Kaye was on the panel.

By her own admission, Coleen isn't perfect at doing the job, so seems odd to not use Kaye. Perhaps she has fallen out of favour with the bosses?

Kaye probably doesn't want to anchor anymore, Nadia used to be co anchor, but when she returned she now just a normal Panelist, the weird thing is both Gloria Hunniford and June Sarpong have both anchored, with Coleen as panelist.

Coleen is an official anchor now it seems, as tweeted from the official account over Christmas. She is not the best at it, though she only does it approx. once a month so I guess she doesn't get much experience/practice.

Kaye is the most experienced of them all and it was very strange today with Kaye there as a panellist. Ruth and Andrea are trained journalists and so is Kaye, so why they would go for Colleen over Kaye is beyond me.

I thought Colleen had left.

Perhaps the anchor has to commit more time in the morning which Kaye cannot.

They are probably shaking the show up a bit, eg. Katie price, Vicky Pattison

Tuesday : Kaye Adams, Coleen Nolan, Janet Street-Porter, Jenny Eclair
Wednesday : Kaye Adams, Coleen Nolan, Janet Street-Porter, Jenny Eclair/Penny Lancaster/Guest Panelist
Thursday : Andrea McLean, Gloria Hunniford/Judy Finnigan, Jane Moore, Nadia Sawalha
Friday : Andrea McLean, Sharon Osbourne, Guest Panelist, Sherrie Hewson

You can tell you haven't watched for a while. Jenny Éclair hasn't been on the panel for years, same for most of the people you've mentioned as guest panellists.
