New look Loose Women

I like Ruth and think she comes across as the most interested presenter in the studio audience.

Andrea clearly doesn't like having to interact or even let onto them when she comes into the studio.

I've watched today's program and yesterday's program and Kaye seems to be awkward when the camera is on her.

Whenever they cut to just her on camera she seems to be looking down the camera but then as soon as she realises that the camera is on her she looks away towards the audience and smiles for a second before beginning her script.

Who ever is mixing the sound on Loose Women keep fading up the audience too high and you can't hear the announcer/presenter. Also, they seem to be dropping the announce a lot recently.

I noticed that too. One edition a few days ago was so misaligned, we could hardly hear Andrea at all.

In other news, Sharon Osbourne is coming up as one of the presenters today. I'm not all that fussed about her, to be honest.

Gloria Hunniford was the lead presenter today. In fact, almost all of the current line-up are experienced anchors in their own right and could step-up if required (Gloria, Kaye, Coleen, Nadia, Judy, Janet, Jane M, Ruth and Andrea have all been/are anchors of one programme or another, with no less than 4 of them all having presented This Morning in the past).

Only Sherrie, Jamelia and Linda are not lead presenters.

I guess it saves on the need to bring-in Kate Garraway, Emma Willis, Fiona Phillips etc like they've done in the past.

She has a morning phone-in show on BBC Scotland so there's enough work for her as it is.

Kaye has barely been on the show since September, which i consider to be a great loss to the program. I'm really not sure what the fascination itv have with Ruth. Although I wouldn't read too much into it as I assume she will still appear on lw.

Kaye quit the 5-day morning radio show back in Nov 2013 when they asked her back to Loose Women. They changed the name from "Call Kaye" to "Morning Call" and Kaye just did Friday's. Then in the Sept 2014 Loose Women re-launch ITV went and demoted Kaye - big mistake IMO. She has signed up to do the new radio show Mon-Thur so it only leaves a Friday for her to do LW if she is still going to cover/appear.

Louise white covered the slots doing the same thing. Ruth is much better on this morning.
