Apart from Marcus Bentley, maybe it's hard to secure the same voice everyday at short notice as it can include the latest news headline, or maybe they're experimenting.

I'd imagine it would be quite easy as I'm sure many have the facilities to work on the go and you'd think they'd book someone who could at least do the first full week.

It's certainly not difficult to find voice over artists with home studios and the ability to either do a live session via ISDN or record the lines and send WAV files or similar.
I daresay that many artists would be happy to take a retainer or similar in exchange for being on standby to record something at short notice
