I believe the most successful period was around the time the Jackie Brambles was at the helm. The audience seemed to relate well to her as host, the guests were of a good calibre, column inches were increased with good publicity. I must admit if I was free in the day I occasionally watched around this time. Unfortunately things started to change, Kate Thornton (who replaced brambles) was made a scapegoat to make way for carol vorderman and things haven't bounced back.
It's nice that itv want to make it more seriously focussed around the days stories again, the truth is that as good as it looks for their brand there isn't an audience for it.
The trailer looks and sounds like an advert for the likes of Take A Break magazine!
Odd that they have made Kaye a panellist after making her seem like the main anchor over the last year. Also, it will be interesting if Myleene has gone, as the lone younger panellist will be Jamelia and the rest of varying ages upwards.
I think this change will be more than cosmetic and will see another change in tone.

Not sure about it, definitely going to tune in tomorrow to see w hat the changes are like, but cant imagine there are any major differences apart from a few aesthetics and the new theme tune.

No... It confirms that it IS the new studio. You can see the isle between the two rows of chairs. The chairs are the same, they just have a blue back. Also, in the gallery monitor you can see the wooden panels at the back that were shown in another picture that was uploaded here.

Think before you post, the picture on the monitor in the gallery clearly is the new loose women set.
For all we know, they could have changed the seating as it didn't work out for whatever reason, or the color just shows up differently.
It's a complete re brand of the show/ theme/graphics/set and changes to the format.
EDIT: and if you look closely enough, you will see it's the same chairs..
Well its certainly different from the TM teaser not sure if I love it though!! Think the riser is a little bit too small and maybe the colours are naff with the wood texture. But I'm reserving judgement for now until the whole package.
