I'm surprised at Ruth's promotion, I thought Kaye was the primary presenter, and rightly so IMO. She's got good versatility with the topics Loose Women talks about and a great partnership with other co-hosts, Nadia Sawalha for one. I'm not sure Ruth will bring more viewers to the table. I'd have much preferred Mon-Wed Kaye and Thurs-Fri Ruth, maybe.
I really hope we get a consistent group of panelists this series, though. Unlike many other incarnations, Loose Women has random panelists on any given day. They should try and go down 'The View' route or 'Le Grand 8' in France, where the panelists are ALWAYS the same, Monday-Friday. If they get a good, varied group of people, it'll be much better for the show.
