It caters well for itvBe's demographics, so why not? Let's Do Lunch is a big hit and deserves more time on air. A "younger" Loose Woman programme in a primetime slot on ITV 2 could go well as bit of a difference from BBC Three's Free Speech.
I do think there have become a lot of loose women recently including main presenters, the occasional viewer wouldn't be able to create a liking to any of them as the chances are that they wouldn't be on the next time they viewed it.
It seems like the show has been in transition for ages now. I do like recent changes, especially re-introducing Kaye Adams and Nadia Sawalha. They're a great team and seem to get on well with the rest of the women.
If there is a problem, I'd say there are too many contributors. The View in the US has a set team of about 5 women, who work Monday to Friday. Theres a rapport with the audience. If you have so many presenters, who are just randomly popping up on a certain day, the atmosphere is different. Loose Women is exactly that! One day the show seems serious because of the panel, the next its innuendos like it was a few years ago.
I'd say a clear out would work, to be honest. I'd have Kaye as the main presenter, and Lisa Maxwell, Colleen, Nadia and maybe Myleene as the co-hosts.
I can't see ITV axing it anytime soon, but certainly ratings need to improve.
It can't be cut, for starters it's important to ITV daytime and then there's no show to replace it. This Morning would have to be extended to fill the gap.
