I believe that is Karen Brady. There's no titles or music from the early days on YouTube unfortunately.

Was this logo used after the original one? I only have a vague memory of the original titles/logo getting replaced by a crappy logo for a short time.

Looks like Andrea has been contracted to do just one day a week this year. Ruth has confirmed that she will host every Wednesday, it seems Kay is doing Monday's and Tuesday's and Carol on Friday's. A kick in the teeth for her considering she has hosted for the majority of the week the last couple of years.

Carol will be taking some time off to do her plane journey soon won't she? Therefore there's room for Andrea to do a few Fridays soon as obviously Ruth won't be around to host it.

I expect Sherrie Hewson will be next out the door. Quite sad as I rather enjoyed the era with McGiffin, Welch, Hewson and McDonald.

What I don't get is, a source was quoted as saying they felt the show was 'too old, white and posh', and yet the most significant changes have involved getting rid of the more common, down to earth personalities and replace them with the likes of Kaye Adams and Nadia Sawaltha.

Well I feel that Kaye and Nadia are more down to earth than Denise Welsh , etc, I find them easier to watch and I would rather chat with them...
