That's not a bad idea. I believe they should make it more current affairs based, rather than a bunch of women sitting around trying to be funny... and failing miserably. They hardly ever talk about the topic, just some of their 'stories'.
They did that twice and there was no audience for it. Remember when it was rebranded to Live Talk? and they did it again in 2006 when the show was moved to 2pm (and was 45 minutes) during the 'ITV DAY' rebranding.
The View in the US is close to being over taken by 'The Talk' on CBS which is a politics free zone and in response The View is cutting back hugely on current affairs too.
There might be a fifth presenter in the pipeline, and each presenter's day has a specific focus?
