There might be a fifth presenter in the pipeline, and each presenter's day has a specific focus?

That's not a bad idea. I believe they should make it more current affairs based, rather than a bunch of women sitting around trying to be funny... and failing miserably. They hardly ever talk about the topic, just some of their 'stories'.

They did that twice and there was no audience for it. Remember when it was rebranded to Live Talk? and they did it again in 2006 when the show was moved to 2pm (and was 45 minutes) during the 'ITV DAY' rebranding.

The View in the US is close to being over taken by 'The Talk' on CBS which is a politics free zone and in response The View is cutting back hugely on current affairs too.

Ruth Langsford to join Loose Women as a permanent presenter from January 2014. She will share presenting duties with Kaye Adams, Carol Vorderman and Andrea McLean.

In addition, Myleene Klass will join the panel in January 2014.

Myleene will only be guest hosting. Nothing permanent.

Interesting to see on the Radio Times guide that Loose Women has been replaced by repeats of Dinner Date tomorrow and Friday, as it was meant to return tomorrow but is now back Monday. Could there be some updates to the set and a new look for the show?

I'm not sure why they've put its return off till Monday. Bit of a pain for Birds of a Feather as I know tomorrow's Loose Women was going to do quite a bit of promotion for it's return tomorrow night.

Judging by this, it was never meant to return before Monday. A blog post, naming the guests, posted two weeks ago! http://www.itv.com/loosewomen/this-week-line-up-guests

Just read on Twitter that Loose Women is returning with a new set tomorrow.

That's a shame, really like the current set, it's not even that old compared to the previous which had numerous paint jobs, from orange, blue and purple.

Hopefully this 'new look' is just some sort of touch-up.

Wanst the old set just blue to purple. Wasnt it just the titles that were orange with the more homely set?

You're probably right.

I'm imagining a more subtle and simple set bearing in mind that the show is returning to a "newsier" format. But I guess we'll find out tomorrow.

Well website and twitter have the same logo - so i doubt that will change. Would be nice if their was a new theme, the current one is awful.
