Having watched the whole thing back, yesterday's episode had a very different feel to it. (Perhaps pre-recorded...)
Reggie Gibson was brilliant.
But the segment with the spotlight on Nadia was very well done, I thought. ("Before they were loose").
Not only was Nadia raw and real in her responses, but it was also nice how the other panelists re-positioned themselves at the other end of the desk to give Nadia more space and allowing for some creative direction and camera work.
Being terrified of Wendy Richard was both sad and hilarious in equal measure, as was the revelation of a very tough and tortuous relationship with her famous sister, Julia Sawalha.
I have to say, I feel that Kaye Adams is the perfect anchor for this show. She balances light and heavy perfectly and doesn't try to be the star of the show like some others do.
In fact, Nadia was also excellent in the anchor seat last week. Better than I've ever seen her before in that role.
