I think because it's still quite rare for the panellists to get fiery at each other and for the lead (Andrea) to have to raise her voice. I know it's happened on occasion, but its rare. Nice to see a proper debate and feel the passion compared to some of the usual tittle tattle they discuss.

It happened on GMB this week when Alex interrupted the knife crime debate and gave his view on the subject.

I’m not sure why the papers picked on what was nothing more than a fiery debate between Jane and Kaye.

Have you seen what they manage to make articles out of these days?

EDIT: Just watched it back - it wasn't just a fiery debate, they really did have a barney over it, with Andrea losing her cool also.

I was howling at Brenda Edwards' face throughout though:

It appears the segment hasn’t been uploaded to the LW YouTube page, unusually. They normally upload all of the main debates within a few hours of the show. However, this particular debate hasn’t been put up.

I wonder if this is a conscious decision or just a backlog.....

Would love to see the debate!

There seems to be a bit of a disconnect between their on screen debates and social media polls. For instance, they'll talk about whether children have too much homework, and at the end the poll is "should homework be banned?" which is quite different.

#BREAKING | Ruth Langsford in shock Loose Women Departure.......

.......she’s joined British Airways as a ‘stewardess’.

Any context, or are we meant to guess?

LOL. She operated as a flight attendant on a British Airways flight yesterday, doing the full onboard service. It was filmed as part of the Loose Women 20th Anniversary “celebrations” and will be aired soon.
