Must say I think the set looks great! Very festive.

Like the touch of the stockings on the desk with the panellists names on too.

For me, looks a RIGHT mess. Just my opinion, though. Just too busy. Too much dark green. Though I loathe this set anyway so I'm probably never going to think it looks amazing.

Yep - and they've made the classic error of dark green Christmas trees. They need a tonne of light (or lights) to avoid them just looking like a dark, dull mess.

The set looks so much better without those glass panels.

Reminiscent of the Blue Peter studio back in the day........

I'm not keen on the look.

The show is awful - thus set just looks dreadful whatever they do to it and the show is utterly laughable in that clip. No offence to Jane Moore but how can an audience in any world be THAT excited to see her - and does that ‘YAY’ bloke work on the show. You always hear him on these clups.
The whole thing is embarassing - especially how they’re all fawning over Coleen Nolan after that Kim Woodburn incident.

I wonder why they don’t just use the Lorraine set for Loose Women - it certainly looks larger on screen and the design is much similar to the previous LW look than whatever the current set is supposed to be. Though I guess the studio quality matches the quality of the show content quite well these days

Jane Moore is anchoring LW today - is that a first?
I've also noticed the screens behind the audience stands have gone in favour of what looks like a plain green board.

First time since 2000 I think.

She's doing a great job.

I wonder if the show has a list of people who can come in last minute if the anchor or panelist falls sick.

Presumably they have the contact details (or agent contact details) for all their main contributors, and the programme editor (and possibly commissioner) will have a view on who would fit best (and then if they aren't available who would be next choice)

I think Ruth once had to go from This Morning to Loose Women a few years back leaving Eamonn to present the last segments on his own

Yes, Andrea had a panic attack shortly before they went to air.
