Yesterday highlighted to me how dire the show can get when one of the anchors are away. The show needed Ruth/Kaye there (even Andrea or Christine would have been better!) to keep control of the ladies and mediate both sides of the argument. Coleen really isn't up to the job, especially on a day like yesterday!

Colleen's never been a great anchor especially when you compare to Nadia who's pretty good as an anchor and as a panelist. I think they should trial other anchors or maybe have guest anchors, they've had Kate Garraway in the past as anchor, I personally would like Anna Richardson as she's always great when she's a guest panelist but she'd easily slip into the anchor role with ease.

Coleen is (unusually for a Friday) anchoring again tomorrow (Friday), unless Kaye moves across to seat 1. So let’s see what she (Coleen) says tomorrow. Undoubtedly, it won’t pass without mention.

Change of line-up today. Coleen won’t appear. Stacey Solomon will appear instead. Alongside Kaye Adams, Denise Van Outen and Nadia Sawalha.

In other news, Tesco Mary will also appear today. One of my most favourite X Factor ever!!

According to Coleen’s son, Shane, she will be appearing on the panel on Monday with “a big announcement”.

On a side note, I personally don’t see how people are saying that Coleen bullied Kim with the other panellists. Coleen tried her best to try and reason with Kim and end their feud and she was having none of it. At the end of the day, Kim appeared because she was getting paid and wanted to be controversial. Loose Women arranged the interview and I think now the producers are probably looking in hindsight and thinking that it wasn’t exactly the best idea as Kim began to shout from the moment she came on. And as for her son, I commend him for defending his mother, who has gone through a tough time this last year as she goes through a divorce with her second husband. However, I do not condone criticising a 76 year old woman on Twitter as he did. People can disagree with me if they want but quite frankly I feel like this is being blown out of proportion.

I'm sure Coleen's been trailing a big announcement for the last couple of weeks.

I have to say, the way in which Coleen's "web team" have been dealing with comments on Twitter (along with Shane) hasn't really done her any favours.

Perhaps not no but I understand why they did it.

I did originally wonder whether or not this is her making a decision to leave the panel (before the Kim Woodburn saga) or the fact that she will be anchoring whilst Christine Lampard is on maternity leave.

I think it's unlikely to be anchoring because Christine's been away for a while anyway so I think it's likely she's leaving

Rejoining, or guesting for two days? We've heard this a few times recently, guest stints being marked as full returns...

Street-porter was the worst with Kim imho. She was being incredibly patronising and one sided

Difference being, Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand didn't present items on bullying on a regular basis.

I’ve watched the clip back three times now. And, perhaps surprisingly, I conclude that it was Kim who bullied Coleen (specifically referring to LW and not B.B.) rather than the other way around. Also Kim could be accused of bullying Linda Robson as well.

Coleen’s only error (IMO) was when she forgot she was the programmes “anchor” and pointed to Kim telling her she was an “evil woman”, or whatever the description was.

If you look closely, Coleen must have been warned in her ear about that and started to backtrack and sought to “draw a line” from that point onwards.

Otherwise, I note that (after several revisits to the clip) Coleen actually looked saddened and upset by the unfolding events. She was whitened by it all.

If anything, it was Linda (Nolan) who possibly provided the most provocative comments.
