I've seen nothing about it on social media, I clearly follow, the wrong (or right
) people.

Yesterday highlighted to me how dire the show can get when one of the anchors are away. The show needed Ruth/Kaye there (even Andrea or Christine would have been better!) to keep control of the ladies and mediate both sides of the argument. Coleen really isn't up to the job, especially on a day like yesterday!

As a side note I recalling reading an interview with Rufus Hound where he mentioned that when Kim was a panellist on Celebrity Juice she got rather nasty towards him, though none of that made the final broadcast. The aftermath involving the producers appears to have been why he left. I can't comment on yesterday's Loose Women episode as I've not seen it, however it would appear that Kim has some form.
(Just found the article from Feb 2017 which is based on an Oct 2013 podcast.)

She doesn't take any nonsense from celebrities, but she is very well liked behind the scenes. Treats runners, assistants etc with respect. I've met her and she was perfectly lovely to me and told me some stories about unpleasant celebs which would make your eyes water.
But leaving the personalities aside, for me it's more the principle of inviting a guest on to have all four hosts against them. They did something similar to Katie Hopkins, although obviously she thrives on that. It just feels a bit school playground and is hardly empowering women, which is/was the show's raison d'etre.

I wonder if she does play up on the no nonsense personality, the interview on This Morning last year where she had that row with Phil, he mentioned in later interviews that once the cameras were off, she was really nice to him. I'm not suggesting this was the case with Loose Women though
