Loose Women

They tried doing a daily version of it in the past (Loose @ 5.30) which I don't think was successful.

The Loose Women and Men special is good to do sometimes but the novelty would wear off very quickly if it was done on a weekly basis.

The new Loose Women set has to be one of the most poorly designed TV sets, in terms of both appearance and practicality. The set looks far worse than the one it replaced, and looks to be a bit of a nightmare to operate in. The close up shots are blocked by the bottom rows of seating, and the wide shots are blocked by the higher seating.

I’m surprised that they didn’t utilise the huge screen that the Lorraine set uses, especially as the screen slides open from the middle. Loose Women definitely got the worst deal out of the move to TVC.

You never know, maybe the ticker that scrolls around the set uses the same panels as the Lorraine video wall.

Entire rows of seats have been left empty in the audience in recent days. Only 2-3 people sitting on the lower sofas too.

Albeit as a guest, and not a panelist. Samantha Mumba will be a guest presenter today, alongside Stacey, Lisa and Andrea.

I think Samantha Mumba comes across very well on the show.
