Loose Women

There are currently 18 regular panellists to fill 20 spots a week. Madness!

Although many of the regulars will be away on holiday I'd imagine over July and August.

Many of the Loose Women were away in Ibiza for a girls holiday last week, leaving Ruth and Coleen to anchor the show between them last week. Gloria did two days (unusual) and Stacey 3 days to make up the numbers.

This week, only two editions of Loose Women due to the World Cup. Both featuring Christine, Chizzy and Janet.

Now a long break until Monday.

I see some consistency issues creeping into the show now. I feel probably just due to the seasonal aspect of summer holidays and world cup.

But it's anyone's guess who's going to turn up. As you note above, 18 pannelists for 20 slots!

I swear, since they moved studios not an episode has gone by without the director cutting to a camera that hasn't fully moved into position. Perhaps there's not enough room to move quickly enough, or are there less cameras?

I wonder who will be anchor on Thursday, I imagine it’ll probably be Ruth or Christine. Having Carol back is great thou and hopefully it’s not just a one off

Point of order - it's not the director actually cutting, it's the vision mixer. Depending on the show they may cut only under the director's control, but on many shows there is latitude for the vision mixer to cut un-directed.

The director may have called a camera that hadn't fully reframed, but without being in the gallery it's not easy to know that.

Two shows at first then going from there. The news has been received very positively on social media. Haven't seen a negative response to it yet, which is very rare!

Really nice show today, with Nadia hosting, Denise back alongside Stacey and Jane. The conversation flowed very naturally and I think Nadia makes a better host than a panelist. She's a good listener and genuinely interested in other people's views.



Kaye would be best for Carol's comeback because they worked together loads in the early days.

I think Nadia should get more anchor days during the summer or when Christine goes on maternity leave. Would also be a good time to experiment with guest anchors;
