Yesterday’s show was pretty shocking to say the least! Kelly Brook shouting over everyone and Colleen acted like a silly little schoolgirl throughout the show. I could barely watch - Ruth struggled to keep control, in between being really silly herself. Poor Jane cringed for the entire episode, along with most of the viewers no doubt.

Problems with the show at the moment in my opinion:
Kelly Brooke (along with many of the new younger faces, with the exception of Stacey) seem very out of place.
Recently, there's a tendency to have 3 guests per show. That's 10mins of general chat, I think there should be 1 guest per show, 2 MAX.

I think what's best for the show would be to take at least 2-3weeks off in the summer, and without going into too much detail, cut back to 50mins per episode. The shows which are cut in length due to the racing or whatever always seem to be the better ones.

There's too many "guest" panellists at the moment, and the show just seems all over the place.

They should focus on a core team of presenters that rotate effectively like before, like how it was between 2009 and 2013. At the moment, there's Andrea, Ruth, Coleen, Kaye, Nadia, Jane, Linda, Janet and Stacey acting as a core team, with people like Christine and Saira acting as occasional panellists on top of guest panellists like Chizzy and Anna Richardson. It all feels a bit too thrown together at the moment, but ITV must be responding to research and feedback so perhaps the viewers like the variety?

I also personally have a problem with the anchor team at the moment. I feel like the show suffers from not having a regular anchor in the mould of Kate Thornton, Jackie Brambles or Kaye that are very firm with their own stance on an issue, but then are also very capable of intelligently opening a debate and widening the issue through opposing viewpoints. Andrea consistently raises inane points, Ruth is quite single-minded and Christine is a competent presenter but fails to participate in debates. I also think it's ridiculous that the show theoretically has three anchors, however when it's the school holidays 2/3 of the main presenting line-up disappear to present other shows in the ITV daytime schedule. It's more of a general problem with ITV and holiday staffing, yet to me it comes across as very unprofessional that Coleen, Nadia and Kaye are all called up to be the main presenter during the holidays after we've already seen Christine and Ruth on previous ITV shows earlier in the day.

You think it would be more professional to have Christine and Ruth host both shows and be ill-prepared for Loose Women?

No, it would be more professional and better for Loose Women's identity if ITV hired presenters that weren't contracted to present front other shows for 13 weeks of the year.

I appreciate Linda Nolan's cancer story is a good human interest story for the programme. Linda Nolan "looking for love" however, I'm not so sure.

It would be good for the programme to follow Coleen trying a healthy lifestyle rather than this "if I want cake I'm going to eat cake" mentality, considering the diabetes crisis in this country.

I assume the Express has their "Loose Women PULLED OFF AIR half way through episode" stories ready for next week. It'll also be "AXED" completely a couple of times.

Christine coming up today with three guest panelists? Chizzy, Anna and Vanessa Feltz?

Chizzy and Anna seem like regulars now. I'd love Anna to replace Andrea as host as she's not not only a great presenter, but is smart enough to moderate a debate.

Andrea once had Carol Kirkwood and Louise Lear as colleagues. Just thought I'd mention that. Wink

I'm surprised she hasn't been given a guest presenter yet, I think she'd be good to replace Christine while she's on Maternity Leave
