Just looking at that new logo and taking into account other such things......................one wonders if the imminent season of Loose Women will, indeed, be the last one?

Possibly more breaks perhaps a longer summer break next year to bring back gino and mel.

You say that and it could be true. On the Clappers website that sells tickets for the audience of Loose Women, apparently this series will end on July 5, a good 4 weeks earlier than normal.

According to Clappers' Twitter page, it's ending early because of the Olympics.

@sssean007 all live show this series, no plans for any pre recording at the mo, series ends early due to Olympics

New set is nice and I like the remixed theme tune. Not too sure about the titles just yet but they are completely different to what they usually have. My only worry about the set is it looks a lot like last years Big Brother living room which became tired quite quickly.

As much as I detest the dreadful, desperate trouts on the program (sorry to any offended Wink) it's a nice set they have and it finally looks like they're in 2011, and not 2003.

The music sounds like some cheap 90s game show to me.

Probably done on something like Cubase or Logic Pro with the help of a MIDI keyboard....

Although the changes make the program look nice (eg. new set, logo, titles, music etc.) I fear they still haven't done enough to bring back Loose Women's heyday and cement it as unmissable staple of ITV's daytime schedule. The presenting line up needs another complete overhaul if the show is going to succeed imo.

The set doesn't go far enough either I'm afraid, its more like an evolution of the old one, rather than something innovative to really give the program some vigour!

I actually agree with this, was just wondering what you would have done? I was thinking perhaps more of a kind of siofa/chairs set up, something warm and welcomung but without just copying This Morninng. I think that Andrea is a great asset to the team and having seen her presenting today, I think that she has got so much to give and I was really impressed. Sally is also a great addition to the panel - glad to see her there!

For some reason, that set really reminds me of this:
